The new atelier house looks over Haldenstein Switzerland, like the villas of Hollywood over Los Angeles. It stages the landscape and it stages its content. Peter Zumthor's new atelier in Haldenstein is a 4-story glasshouse built into the hillside. 

A concrete bench along the glass walls heats the room and provides the necessary protection. Additionally, the highly efficient acoustic curtain STREAMER pro (aw 0.8), facing the inside, ensures good room acoustics and protects the sunlight. The curtain fits nicely into the concept of the new atelier house, like a curtain wall house.
